Akko Winery is a community enterprise that was born as a community response to all those who wish to learn and deepen a shared experience that only wine can provide.
Akko Winery is one of the only ones in the country where every full-fledged person can experience making their own wine, in a comprehensive annual process, accompanied by a professional winemaker and in a group setting.
The wine was produced from 100% Carignan grapes harvested in a meticulous manual harvest in the Shafiya Valley.
The heavy soil of the valley, and the cold air that drains at night from the Mediterranean freshens and cools the vineyard.
The wine is aged for 12 months in a French oak barrel, and is not filtered
